University of California Davis Getting an A is entirely doable, but mechanisms weren't taught well so even if you do well in this class you will be disadvantaged in the next one. Kevin Luli at University of California Davis His tests are reasonable and he provides sample tests in addition to in-class sample questions. Griffiths is excellent at grabbing your attention in lectures and does a very good job of relaying the information of the course to you. textbook very dense but helpful. Avoid if you can. He is so kind and teaches the material thoroughly. He gave lots of extra credit opportunities and was overall very funny. If you can accept that and the speed of the quarter system you will have no problems. originally pretty hw heavy in the beginning of the quarter but he's super accommodating and after the course survey changed to just webwork assignments and optional practice problems. He's okay. TAs carry this class. You will be graded on just three things: participation (30%), midterm paper (35%) and final paper (35%). I love professor Cage and have taken 3 classes from him. All the projects you learn how to do from discussion which is taught by his 2 TAs. One of the most boring and difficult classes I've taken at Davis.
