I can rewind to before I started the Helgen story but I can't test the teleport crash without it saving over my progress. Ok so after an exstensive trial run in TES5Edit I have found the Dawngaurd, Dragonborn and Hearthfire are missing Navmesh's and TES5Edit is unable to undelete so I'm redownloading the files so hopefully these Navmesh's will be fixed by a fresh download, I couldn't find any other majour errors that would cause the game to crash just arround Whiterun, so its just a waiting game now. Not a big deal as simply loading a continue usually gets me in, so I just quicksave before entering those two.
