Loved this guy. Overall Quality Based on 104 ratings. Minimal extra credit opportunities, but you honestly dont need them. I do recommend dedicating a bit of time before the tests studying, but you shouldn't stress as the review material is nearly identical. With that being said, Dr.Barnes was the best professor I have ever had. This is not fun at all. sports and diversity class, simple powerpoint slides every week, discussion board, and journal. Dr. Barnes has been one of my favorite professors at UGA so far and the best CS teacher I've ever had. You can get easy A is his class if you show up and do your homework. I think this is a good class to take for a gen ed. Best school there is. DOesn't teach anything. Brad is an awesome professor. Definitely recommend! His course work was easy as long as you read the text, watch the videos and try. Professor Hilliard is a great Professor, and you can tell that he really cares about his students and wants them to do well. Reputation. Mr. Levy was a great teacher, even when you have left his class he still helps you out in Math. lot of long papers (6-10pgs for the final exam) use NetLogo A LOT. I had to go see a tutor after class to actually learn what was supposedly taught in class. Too much think-for-yourself vibe. A-no-way is right! There is so much construction going on and many commuter parking lots have been closed off. He is as good as it gets in my opinion. You can't go wrong! He provides a lot of extra credit which really help raise your final grade. It is also a lot of work. / 5. DOesn't teach anything. Business department is terrible. I regretted choosing this professor only because his lectures are insanely boring and he's never on topic. I have never met an instructor that was so helpful and giving of his time to help students understand a subject. Once you figure him out and his grading out, he's okay. 2.4. It has a lot of homework and pretty boring but you can easily get an A if you apply yourself. Very sweet caring guy. No parking. I recommend a study partner. Every morning you go over homework and ask questions, he gives practice tests, and his lectures are very clear, and you can tell he loves teaching. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get an A in this course unless you get 100% on every single assignment. BUT if you want a relatively easy class, choose this professor. Almost all assignments feel useful, and although some of the material can be tough, it will feel very rewarding when it all comes together on projects.
