The naturalist guide was very knowledgeable and pleasant but I feel like we saw some leaf cutter ants, a tarantula that lives in a pipe, and a few butterflies. They took videos of us for free and were a great time to hang out with. This part of the expedition offers a more peaceful introduction to exploring the Arenal Rainforest on a 4 km (2.5 mi) circuit trail that snakes through distinct levels of the wonderfully diverse ecosystem.
