Professor really wants you to actually learn, 2 lecture quizzes and 1 reading quiz per week. 2 papers are not that hard if you put effort into them and they are graded pretty easily. Many complex protein structures are not visualized and only described in words in his material and lectures, so I did never get a sense of any structure stuff but tried to memorize everything and forgot everything after exams. Ok so to clarify, it is not like he has a bad accent, or that he doesn't speak clearly. Prerecorded lectures were very surface-level compared to the exams.
